The DKW NZ350 performed superbly as the Wehrmacht drove deep into France, through the vast harsh weather conditions of Russia and into Normandy. As the numbers of experienced soldiers declined as the war went on, members of the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth), were used as dispatch riders.
